I downloaded this and it looks pretty good (only works on XP).

Seems quick and has a nice interface. No upload of custom curves.

It says it is only a trial but seems to be free when you register.

I've been playing around with this a little bit and just thought I'd let you know a couple of reactions

- fantastic interface
- very fast
- great intuitive workflow
- auto white balance works very well
- pretty buggy at the moment - zooming doesn't work properly and exporting to JPEC and TIFF results in a black screen (at least on my PC and on various other judging by the support forum)

Personally I can't wait untill this software works properly

Cheers

Loz

You must have a fast PC. The software doesn't work properly with PIIIs and with AMD chips aparently.

Cheers

Tell me about it Birdy. It locks up every time I zoom in NC. One day (maybe soon) it will make a nice paperweight.

I'm sure if I make it to a mini meet at your place I'll be suffering from a bad case of LL (lense lust) and PL (processor lust).

Although the PIII Compaq laptop is a bit old and clunky it's just been upgraded to an 80gig hard drive and 512mb ram so it runs ok on the wireless network I've got at home (yes i realise I'm sounding insecure now... trying to name drop my equipment and my network...)
