I am in Tasmania..... but I am not "from Tasmania" :P

I'd be interested in doing something once I get this (crazy) month out of the way......

Ideas = endless, so much to see with the coastline, spring will be coming (I hope) and the colours that brings in a couple of months, etc.

We could go anywhere - just depends on what we want to shoot.....

Hi Dave,

I'm in Hobart, which is a bit far from Somerset. There are a couple other Tassie members from up north lurking around that I know of. If you're ever down south, let me know.

Cheers
John

Too far for this jet-setter :) I intend to take some time off work (hopefully) so maybe..............I make no promises though. Launie would be cool. Lot's of old buildings to shoot. Does the Boags brewery allow cameras on their tour.....

I'll do what I can, but I seem to be time challenged.

Bump..... my weekends are now mine (or my wife's more accurately  )

Shall we do something sometime? Even just a photo wander along a part of the coastline around Burnie/Sulphur Creek/Penguin?

Warning -- hanging around with me will make you want to get better lenses/body. I'll probably choose the 10-20, 28-70 and 80-400 as the 3 to carry.

OK - well all this tassie talk is making me homesick ;)
I'm originally from Tassie but currently in Victoria.
I have no scars on my neck either- surgery is pretty good these days... :P

My commiserations bluemist..... obviously those Victorians haven't found out about your relationship with your brother/sister yet  :P

Dave - we will also be somewhat hampered by whatever the weather throws at us based on recent form too. Time & place - hmm.

One place I'd like to have a look around (not been there before) is Fernglade (up near Lactos). Whaddya reckon?

When? Either this weekend or next, either say a Sat afternoon or a Sunday morning?

Cheers

Have a good meet guys. A bit far for me to come up to Burnie I'm afraid. I'm sure we'll catch up in the future sometime.

Cheers
John

Say 3pm maybe - will give the changing afternoon light? Never been there so I don't know if that would be too early or too late.

John -- I'd like to do something up around the Great Lake / Highlands in Spring/Summer too. One place I want to revisit is the Waddamana Hydro station and the related water infrastructure.

That would be a fair bit closer for you and a nice drive seeing as the road is sealed all the way to Miena.

Sounds good, I won't have a job to slow me down by then. I'll look forward to it.
