Help me choose what paper to print on for an exhibition

Hi guys,
Im currently pulling my hair out trying to figure out how i should print my images, well more importantly on what i should print my images.
Im holding an exhibition in september and want to start to get some of my prints done now. Im looking at getting them done around 30x20 and maybe one larger (my POTW)
I like the idea of using pixel perfect dueto their great printing (used the 2 free prints promo and was impressed) however all my uni friends are raving about metallic prints at the moment.
What would the benefit be to metallic paper? I know this all comes down to personal preference but i need some advice.
There is a lab here in canberra that does them and aparently have great service but im not sure how large their prints go.
To give you an idea of the content there will be about 10 images from http://flickr.com/photos/jamesthomsonph ... 979562325/
Anyhelp would be greatly apprieciated.
