I have a 50mm 1.8 that I can spare for a month
and a 135mm manual focus 2.8 if it would help
you may have to stand back a bit

Wendell, you have some bad luck but I suppose working at the bleeding edge you are bound to get cut. Hope you recover from this setback promptly. You can borrow a kit lens and 70-210 if you like.Seems you have enough between everyone to get a working kit.

On a more positive note I noticed this site on TV last night, any connection? http://www.wendells.com.au/

What happened to your gear, Wendall? Did you write somewhere I've missed? (Don't want you to relive it unnecessarily).

I have a Nikkor 28-80mm and a Tamron 28-105mm f/2.8 (AF not great on it) if you want to borrow. I would lend you my D300 if i had a 2nd body, but the S5 is not technically mine. Oh if you need I could probably do without the SB-600 for a little while as well.

Let me know if your interested.
