Hello all, after much trial,much tribulation, and a lot of assistance from Greg B, I am attempting to post an image, it is of a Spoonbill
taken with a D2h and Sigma 50-500 lens Handheld,

that's a lovely shot nikon boy... can you share the focal lenght .. f stop.. etc etc?

Btw, I love Norms D2H. Very nice and fast. I expect Geoff was druelling if the D2X shoots 12mp raw at the same speed as the D2H without stalling.
That's something I've noticed with the D70 while shooting raw at the F1GP is that it stalls after about 4-5 shots while the buffer has to catch up. Very annoying for sports.
I think the 8FPS of the D2H really got mine and PlatinumWeavers mouths druelling, and then started to dream about the D2X. Man that camera would be a dream, shame it's like 4x the price of the D70. If it was 2x I would consider it.

what would you like after the D2x? 200-400 VR, head, legs, L bracket, lens foot!
