Doing a wedding shoot with Yip on Saturday. Part of my assignment is to attend the grooms place and and take shots of the guys getting ready. I've done several bride shoots getting ready but never done guys in the same situtaion. I assume there would be less fanfare with guys getting ready. Anyone got ideas on possible shots to try in this situation.

When I saw "Groom Shoot", I was picturing a bunch of blokes in rented dinner suits
racing off into the woods pursued by angry women with guns......

Based on images I have seen, the youth of today seem to like moody shots with low light, cigars, old arm chairs, wide and close angles from low down.

Other shots could be:

- Cufflinks (if worn)
- Father & son hugs, handshakes, etc
- Nice polished shoes,
- Father-in-law to be putting the shotgun away :D
- Maybe (albeit cliched) Reservoir Dogs type walking shot.
- Glass of scotch, beer, maybe even at the pub.
- Etcetera

great suggestions Patrick. I have one more, Abbey Rd style shot may be interesting and the groom as he waits for his bride (nervous tension?)
