Hi,

I have just got a c9000 and a few sets of imedions and am breaking them in (charge-discharge-charge) cycle as per the manual. My questions are

1. Is this the norm for every new set as I have to wait for atleast a couple of days before I can play with them
2. Is it normal for the display to say 2501mAh and climbing even though they are rated at 2100mAh, the manual says its ok to go to 1.6 times, whats your experience?
3. Can I not just pop the batteries into my flash and have a play since they are low discharge ones anyway??

Cheers
Mak

I'm sure Jeff will come back with the "official" opinion, but why not play with one set and break in the others?

I know I did this with mine, and I can't tell which set was the "play immediately" set now

You can break them in by using them in your appliance. The term generally refers to the fact that you won't get the best performance until they have been used/recharged about 3 times.
