A workmate found this link on the official Eiffel Tower website.

In the middle of the FAQ page (http://www.tour-eiffel.fr/teiffel/uk/pratique/faq) is a statement about when the Eiffel Tower image is copyright - only when the lights are on at night :?

So there you go further proof that copyright insanity is a universal worldwide disease :x

Cheers,
Gordon.

wow...how is that even possible. I'd like to see them try to come after me in the States for taking a pic. Unless there is a sign posted in every place the tower is visible, they are out of luck. How can anyone think they can get away with such.....amazing.

A

How can you copyright somthing not in print........??? :?:

Maybe the designers of the lighting copyright their work... They give the tower a different look. As to implement, I think that if you sell the picture it's fairly easy to get back to you. Would they bother?
