Looks like Poon has another new toy, this sounds to be a Cleon but with a built in RF flash trigger.
Gary have you heard anything about this one? I came across it whilst looking at some EN-EL9 batteries for my mates D60.

looks interesting. i'm assuming that the unit can act as a transiever and a receiver and i take you you will need one of these for each flash. at $40USD each, if they are reliable...thats a great low cost solution.

They certainly look interesting - quite a bit of chatter around the forums too. I guess there
will always be interest in a low cost alternative to the venerable Pocket Wizard.

OK, on current rates, this will be $32, including shipping.
I'm just trying to find out more details; it uses interchangeable cables, so I'm wanting to understand how that works, and how we order different/extra cables for them.
And what they cost, of course.
I am informed that the cable for the D90 is also available, so I may need to sort out how we order these, given that you may wish to order one, plus maybe an extra cable.

I have used these and for the price they are great - seem reliable but you do have to set everything manually. You can control a number of flashes easily and the range is easily 30m. For the price thay are excellent unless you need huge distances, then you would be better off spending the big bucks on Pocket Wizards..
