Not really sure what you mean - do you mean get the focal length used from the EXIF data embedded in the images you've taken?

Thanks Pa In a days shoot I take approx 1500 images and I have been thinking of up on 300mm and down on 120mm as additional lenses.I would like to know how many shots at what focal length I am taking to aid in this decision, but it would need quicker system if it is avlbe--cheers inmotion

I think what you're after is actually some statistical software, that examines the exif of your images and tells you how many were shot at what focal length.
There have been posts here about that in the past, but I'm stuffed if I can come up with an appropriate search string for you. Perhaps "average"?
