Recommended reading?I'm after a few suggestions on decent books or magazines to pick up that will help me get a fundamental grasp of photography.
I'll try not to bore everyone but some background may help with coming up with suggestions. I've been fiddling with photography for about 6 years, 6 years filled with errors but the occasional successes as well. In the last year I lost my drive... only keen to take photos while travelling abroad concluding there's nothing of interest to shoot at home I'm keen to get back in to it, have a few local (aus) weekend get-aways over the next couple of months planned (Flinders ranges, Troubridge Island, Sydney and Melbourne) and have just invested in a D300 to replace the D70 and a sigma 50-150 1:2.8. My main interests are capturing people/street photography as well as some urban/landscape shots I have read internet tutorials on Composition, exposure etc etc.. I think i need something slightly more "advanced" but not over the top. The magazines i seem to pick up are aimed at P&S users and photoshop trickery. I'm in the process of moving my photos to Flickr, just need to tidy up what i've got first. But to see where i'm "at" you can take a look at my older stuff on Picasa
