Vertical grip update....Just noticed this, kinda out for a while.....

that little circle... is that the...; gasp vertical shutter release button...?? hopefully nikon will show em hows its done! JD
If that is the vertical shutter release it sure does look a bit dodgy... I'm sure the product is fine but I'd think very long and hard before I put anything like that on my beloved D70!
As for Nikon producing something like this for the D70... I wouldn't count on it... Maybe when the D200, or whatever it will be called, is released, there will be an official Nikon grip for it. Stephen
I've been following this project for quite some time now but i am disappointed with the result.
I don't think i will buy one of these unless they do some cosmetic changes and/or Nikon doesn't come through with theirs. Steve.

I think I may have mentioned this before but when I had the D1 I never used the shutter release button on the grip (i.e. bottom release) so would not even consider a battery grip for the D70
I found it too awkward Chris
