Anyone done the correspondence courses through Nikon Club?Hi,
As I contemplate some "courses" to give some structure and drive to becoming a better photographer I was wondering if anyone has done the courses through Nikon Club Australia. Are they worth the money? Any particular ones recommended to do or avoid? Thanks in advance for any wisdom supplied. Cheers, Gordon. Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.
nodrog_reversed I did the Nikon Digital course. Was it worth the money? For me no not really (I was glad that work paid for it) it was a very basic course that really only had a few things that helped me understand Photoshop a bit better.
The information on taking better photos was limited, it was very general (I suppose it had to be) and was not specifically related to digital SLR's I would recommend this course to anyone who has never touched Photoshop and is the owner of a digital camera. However I think that Adobe offers courses in Photoshop for about the same price and I think you would learn more from that. On the positive side.. Each unit had a project that had to be submitted, and the reporting back was very helpful. However the best things was the advertising that came with the course notes, mmmm Lowepro and Nikon brochures... Mal
I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.
