Hey guys,

Just thought I would run this past you all as well. I bought my beloved Lowepro Fastpack 250 back in july last year (from memory) but have recently discovered that the material on the straps has started to fray, having come out from underneath the piping on the sides of the strap. I can see the white foam padding...

Do you think that this will be covered under LowePro's lifetime gaurantee? I wouldnt say it is 'normal' wear and tear as I have never had this happen to any of my backpacks.

I have sent an email to lowepro and am awaiting a reply. I have stopped using the bag temporarily.

I hope that is is covered. I've got a lowe pro bag falling apart to, so have considered getting back to them.

I am hoping so, I have only had the bag for about a year and I really dont feel like having to buy another bag, having just added the Inverse 200AW into my stable.

So far 1.5 business days since email was sent, no reply yet. Will probably give them a week before I call them.

I dropped it off at my old work today (13/5/2009), I bought it from them so I figure that although it may take longer it will save me the trouble of having to find a box, arrange devliery etc.

Last time I sent a lens into Maxwell to get a repair done it took wayy too long, I now wonder it Lowepro repairs take less time for Maxwell.
