Negative scanning services in BrisbaneHi all,
I am looking for a negative scanning service in Brisbane. I have a friend who needs to scan about 500 or so negatives (some will be duds) of old memories etc. Does anyone have a cost effective service you could recommend? Thanks Suren

Cameron is right - 500 photos, even at low res, would cost $150-200 assuming they all exist as uncut, 36 exposure rolls. If they are all single negs/trannies, the cost will increase dramatically (by multiples). Again, for low res. Cost of time aside, your friend could buy a scanner, go through the process over time and then sell the scanner to recoup some of the capital. Even an Epson V700 could come out more cost effective this way. Or an Imacon! Regards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
