D3 v D700HI Does any one have first hand experience with the D3 v D700 comparison.
I Have A D300 and D700 I shoot outdooor sports with some indoor studio work.Other than frame rate what are the benefits of upgrading the D700 to a D3 Cheers inmotion
Re: D3 v D700Throw the MB-D10 loaded with AAs onto the D700, and the speed difference becomes insignifcant too.

Re: D3 v D700off the top of my head:
shutter life, viewfinder coverage, battery life, dual CF cards for backup, better weather sealing, better button arrangements (less use of menus), portrait grip integrated, CLS master on the D700 all pro features and not IQ features. If you shoot for a living... D3 is a must, but if you're shooting as a hobby or you don't shoot much, then a d700 is just as good. I've got two D3 bodies, one D3x and one D700. I never use the D700 and it only ever sits as a third backup. http://www.lumensphotography.com
