Screen protector for D3??

i don't think you need one. they're scratch proof and tough as nails.. try scratching it!! Ive got a couple D3 bodies that's been through hell and back and there's not one mark on the LCD screens.

No scratches on mine either. They really are tough. Some people use those stick on ones, but I'm sure they are not needed.

I have had my D3 for a year now, and no scraches. I do run a cut to size stick on protector most of the time because my gear gets treated real bad. Screen looks better than the rest of the camera :lol: Gone trough a couple of lenses in that time too :|

I keep scratchign the plastic protectors on barb wire fences when climbing over them it seems :(

My LCD screen protector was already on mine when I bought my D3 (gently used- 1500 shutter count).
I'm quite impressed with it and better quality than the Nikon one on my D300 IMO.
Have found them here, for those interested, not cheap though!

Hi,

Thanks for that. We use the Hoodman Hoods on our video camera's and while pricey have always been of good quality.

Just took my stick on protector off and found scratch on the un-scratchable screen :(
