Which exif reader?

Postby Marvin on Fri Mar 18, 2005 10:44 am

Hi everyone!
I was just wondering which exif reader to download. I did a search and didn't come up with much to help.
TIA,
Marvin

Try irfanview. I downloaded it after reading this thread, and it works fine:

As a straight exif viewer only, I use two iexif from http://www.opanda.com or viewexif from http://ak.no-ip.com/

Both are good, just get over any image right click (they install as a right click option) select the program and they give you the details.

Iexif gives more details, viewexif is faster (1-2 secs versus 2-3 secs, obviously I am impatient  )

Good luck

Thanks guys! I actually had both of these but didn't realise you could right click with iexif.

I have IExif which is working from Firefox (my browser) by right clicking on an image.
It brings up all the info on most of the images people post which I find interesting and helpful.
However it does not work on all the pics posted, does any one know why that would be.
Is it that they have uploaded a version without exif data or some other reason?
