A pleasant suprise

Postby Hudo on Wed Nov 04, 2009 2:37 pm

Hi,

While driving past the HQ of one of our commercial clients offices on Sunday Katie and I noticed a floor to ceiling image of one of our recent photoshoots we did for the company. Katie and I had to stop, grab our iPhones and snap a few images.

What suprised me was how good the image reproduced at this size guessing 1.8M high printed on banner type material. It was taken on a D3, ISO 200, f8 @ 250th. We used a SU800 to trigger 2 x SB800's with 10" translusant shoot thru umbrella's on stands using the Nikon CLS. The location was a darkened night club. We had about 1.5hrs to get to know the model, set the shots up, shoot them and then packup and get out before the 6Pm Friday crowed arrived.

It's nice when you see the fruits of your labour....

Thanks,

Hudo

Fantastic surprise Hudo!
All from a 1.8mb file? That's superb! Well done.
