D2Hs

Just read that tthis camera will be released on the 25th March worldwide £2,500 which at today’s exchange rate puts it at just over $6,000 - surely this will not be competitive with the D2x

Who use that zoom for reviewing images during the shooting? me not!

I do sometimes to check blur on low shutter speed.

Do Nikon make any NVG-based cameras / lenses yet?
digitor wrote:You can get some excellent results shooting through NVGs with a P&S or a video camera, but due to the smallish exit pupil on the gogs, an SLR doesn't work so well (like looking down a tunnel). The ones available in surplus stores are often old Russian units, and unfortunately the results are not in the same ball park as modern equipment.

digitor,
I have one from the US surplus stock that mount onto the flight helmet for the rotary wing, brand new manufactured date 01/ 09, current use with the flight helmet on Blackhawk.
Ok, I had try it on the 50/1.4 but required an adaptor which could not be found yet! I'll try hard to source it or mofifying if I'm back to the States in June, at that time I'll pick up a new NVG kit for the HGU-55(Helmet) from Andrews AFB, CA, good try to see if I can integrated them with the smallest lens as 50 or 45P. Lot of fun if I can.
