Photo Request: Starry night sky.

Postby Wigspotter on Fri Jul 23, 2010 12:11 pm

Hi,

>>> HUGE favour request <<<

Are any of you photographers living away from the big smoke able to take a quick photo for me?

I need a wide angle photo of a starry night sky (incl horizon) with no star trails to strip into a harbour view shot. This is a love job so don't have time to head far enough out of the city(Sydney weather a problem at the moment too!). Will need 16 bit or RAW file.

Can anyone help me? (Maybe you already have something in your catalogue??)

Thanks,

Conor

Hi Connor,

Welcome. Could you please add your location into your profile, as stated in the Forum Rules? Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

You might like to post a bit more information about this, such as what your intended usage of this image would be, and what sort of rights to use the image you would be seeking.

Cheers.

Done and done. The location box didn't work as I was setting up my profile (using Safari). Apologies.

The usage is for a small property job in Sydney. I shot a harbour night view from a friend's property as a stitched panorama.

Unfortunately I've now found out he needs to use it in an A4 format. I'd like to extend the image up but need an interesting sky. I thought blending out to a starry night might be fun but can't produce it in Syd with the city lights and this weather.

I think it will be printed 4 times to A4.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

C
