The answer is not so simple.

Let's start with a few basics ... first of all, a little housekeeping: please observe the "Forum Rules" section just immediately above your post, and please add a meaningful location to your profile.

Next, let's try to understand a little about who you are, and what your current level of experience might be: the answer will be very different for somebody who has never made a shot, as against somebody who might be an accomplisshed wedding photographer.

When we can understand where you sit in this sort of realm, we can then start to provide a meaningful answer.

Simple answer: Take a photograph of a product.

Complete answer: What Gary said.

As simple as the question lies, with difficulty and experience.

I have added the location, I am sorry about this.

I think I have solid knowledge about photography. I just need some advice how and where to start.

I have been photographing products digitally since 1993. I started by being a graphic designer and having clients that required that service, photography.

To start from scratch is not that easy as you need someone to require your product shots and pay for them. I would start by producing a small portfolio that you can show people and after that begins the finger and leg work.

Persistence will be your reward.

Hi,
I'm looking at this field myself. I started by blissfully sending a few images that I thought were pretty terrific to iStock Photo and was promptly rejected. I then had a little sit down and think about what constituted good product photography and I have been uploading a few attempts here before I try again as the input from the forum is invaluable. I hope to take a few more this weekend then hopefully re-apply to iStock Photo. What's being sais above is absolutely true. I think a couple of years ago these sort of companies were much less picky, but as they now have about ten million images you have to be on your game. I like it as it's a challenge!!

Whatever it is that you embark on (in Miami, Florida), I expect it will be 10 times harder than in Australia. Good luck and I hope you have every success. Perhaps you can keep up updated on your progress?

I have noticed as well! I am trying my luck with small businesses in my area.
