Radio shutter control?

Postby inmotion on Wed Jun 29, 2011 11:21 pm

My Need
to control a remote camera via radio release within 20 mt
Nikon D3s
Nikon D300s
I have a set of Yongnuo radio flash transmitter and 3 receivers
also would be nice to fire an independant flash at the same time
Do I need a separate Shutter trigger or can I just connect the cable that came with the flash rv--tx units
Cheers Jim
I want to set a camera up with a wide angle lens to get "Under " a bike or horse in an interesting situation?

Never used these set of radio triggers before. I presume that if the receivers have the capability to trigger the camera, then why not? It would need to be connected to the shutter release input.

If all else fails, you could set up interval shooting on the camera or get a really long shutter release cable ;)

Phottix Stratos....

transmitter in hand.....
#1 receiver connected to camera as a wireless RF shutter release
#2 - however many you need connected as RF flash triggers to your speedlights......

As long as your transmitter is set to ALL channels...when you trigger you will have everything go off at once!

You can have a closer look at Phottix Store
