Hi all,

Over the weekend I went the the Cunderdin Air Show and took a heap of snaps. The pics on my link are not all that flash, I lost a heap of quality resizing them for the web. I also used a Hoya filter on my camera and think may have made them a little darker than usual.

I am only using the kit lens 18-70mm. As much as I would like a new lens, I want to learn how to use the camera first, then onto better things.
Anyhow, though you all may like a look at some of the planes

Take care ..

You've got some pretty neat planes there, Trevor. :)

The filter shouldn't make the photos darker. Metering is done TTL, which will, under normal circumstances, nullify any light loss from a filter, so long as you are watching the meter and responding to any underexposure that may be indicated.

After resizing a shot for the web, are you using unsharp mask to restore sharpness?
