Some of his landscapes are fantastic.

If thats an image of his plane thats crashed, it appears he was unfortunate to die given the relatively minor damage to the aircrafts itself. :(

thats the first thing i thought, however looking at the image of the plane futher indicates he probably suffered pretty high deccelaration in the up/down direction, there is no (little) wreckage screwn over a skid path indicating a controlled landing - in those little old aircraft there ain't much to keep you alive in a crash, certified back in the days before dynamic seats etc...

Can't see the plane image.

He has done some quality work indeed! Looks like a jolly character. In the last picture I think he is holding a 350D!

Raskill....I dont understand your post...maybe I have missed something.

Some great images there from Carlos in those links though. Sad to think that yet another great photographer passes away.
