Anyone have any suggestions for places to visit whilst in Wagga??

There's an Air Force base at Wagga.
Lots of rural action if you are able to hook up with the locals.

There is a quite excellent art glass museum. There is also a half decent winery attached to the Uni - they teach oenology. Other than that, I am with Gary.
My sister used to live there & I am VERY glad she has seen the light and moved out. If you are at all susceptible to hayfever or asthma, you will not enjoy the visit. Sis used to brag that it is the Asthma capital of the world. And that about sums the place up. If the cedar trees are in bloom, leave FAST.

There is an Indian restaurant called Maharaja ( I think) which used to be quite good in 2007.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have had very little net access whilst down here. Even my google acct, push mail and sync'd calender, stopped working on my phone. Currently waiting for the train back Sydney....hopefully my connection issues will sort themselves out
