I came.
I saw.
I left.
I gave up on it as it seemed totally lame, and without any merit or benefit for me. Much of the content was cross-posted from Twitter - where I already have a presence - or Facebook.
In fact, it struck me as a me-too version of Facebook, which I abhor. More on that on tonight's Gadget Grill,
btw, following a discussion at an IT security lunch earlier in the week.
Basically, it was like turning up at a party, early, but finding that nobody else was coming.
FWIW, has anybody considered what their relationship is with sites like Google and Facebook? For those who think you're client of their's think again. You're their product.
Just remember that no matter what, anything that you put out on those sites - anywhere on the internet, in fact - should never be considered to be private. If you don't want others to see it, do not push it into these sites.
