Looking to borrow an inverter.

Would anyone have a PURE SINE WAVE inverter they could lend me for a few days.
12V -> 240V, as I said, Pure sine wave. Probably about 200W would be more than sufficient.

Basically, I want to prove a concept before I go out and spend AUD200+ on one of these beasties.

It has bothered me ever since I got it that my Solar HWS uses grid power to run the pump that makes it all work. I would like to get the electrics on to solar as well.
I have borrowed a solar panel, regulator & battery, and connected my cheapie inverter to it. It happily runs the electronics, but the AC motor on the pump balks at the "modified sine wave" (read square wave!) output and refuses to start. I strongly suspect a decent inverter will cure this problem but won't know for sure until I try it.

The system draws 60W when the pump is running, so allowing for startup current, anything over about 180W should be fine. I don't trust relying on the surge allowance for this. Especially if it is borrowed goods.

No matter. I found one from another source. It was a 400W job, but it proved proof of concept.
Now to track down a 200Wer. The are scarce on the ground in True Sine versions.
