NEW AF-D in next generation Nikon cameras

Postby phillipb on Fri Apr 01, 2005 10:47 am

Apparently this is a new revolutionary AF system guaranteed to give you perfect results every time using the same type of system as the human eye.
See if you can guess what the AF-D stands for.

   Nowhere near a good as yours Gary/leigh but AF-D does stand for April Fools Day.

As a side note, my mother was born on this day, 79 years ago, someone went to give my grandfather the news at work which he quickly dismissed as an April fool's joke and didn't rush home. Needless to say he was on my grandmother's bad books for a while.

The other acronym I thought AF-D might be would be "A Fucking Dream"... both are apt, me thinks.
