April or Nikon Fool?...

Postby Andyt on Fri Apr 01, 2005 11:42 am

Arrived at work, cuppa made, settled down and booted up to read this mornings posts,..........whattha!... Oh! its Ist April!. :D Feeling totally smug that I had for once "sussed" the prank I continued browsing to slowly realize that it was no prank. My favourite website has gone corporate.

As Birdy says "it was a bit sudden without consultation" us rank and file posters / members that help make up this great forum are I am sure feeling a bit dazed and perhaps used/sold out?

Time will tell, although something had to happen, it was getting to big to good to fast.

........maybe next year I will suss out the prank before everyone else.

In the mean time, what did I do with that old Canon......

Oh yeah... the reaction that Birddog gave us actually helped fuel the prank. :)

And I'm getting some practice at closing threads today! Yeeeehaww!!!
