16 stop B&W imagesRegards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: 16 stop B&W imagesThank you for posting that Patrick. Very worthwhile to see and very inspiring.

Re: 16 stop B&W imagesAwesome stuff!
That has inspired me to order a 52 to 77 step up ring for my big blocker 110 so I can put it on the XPro.
Re: 16 stop B&W imagesLikewise, I am inclined to look out for an 82mm 10 stopper or similar with 77-82 and 62-77 step up rings.
What I have noticed, and Gerry's recent waterfall image illustrates this, is that very long daytime exposures seem to change the nature of the light, compared to similar images, at much faster shutter speeds. Can't explain it, but it is apparent to me. Regards, Patrick

Re: 16 stop B&W images
Well technically I have my 77mm B+W 10 stop + my Lee Bigstopper and if we add a CPL we've got 22 stops (add my Variable ND and we could go for 30 stops ) D600, D7000, Nikon/Sigma/Tamron Lenses, Nikon Flashes, Sirui/Manfrotto/Benro Sticks
