Actually, I was in London earlier this week. As my work colleague was wandering about the British Museum, I did my customary tour of the district's camera shops, and whilst perusing a quaint but dingy repair shop, happed upon a very nice Canon EF 200 F1.8, in pretty good nick. Price was £2100 (3000 AUD) which might have made for a good investment for a cashed up collector, but I don't think you can get these things repaired any more, so it would be risky.

In Rome today, and a visit to the nearby Leica store is waiting...
