so wrapped with the D70 ... and also a 28-300 F3.5 LD/IS + this + that lens ive borrowed for a while off a mate. (may well buy it, or swap him for a 60mm Nikkor Micro i have on order.)
As i suspected, noise is apparent on the high res originals on the long moon night shots ... not as bad RAW though ... this is the only thing I miss on the 300D ... everything else is by far superior ... thrice as complex / controllable. (whcih is good and bad, a few ways the nikon sub dials work is a bit odd ... like its very easy to accidently change yer AF point selection, or scroll EV +/- without realising it. But who cares *smile*
