Lancers? Document copy

A women brought me this very old photograph she found that belonged to her mother. She thinks her grandfather is in the pic. I copied it using the D70...They appear to be NSW Lancers of some type...looks like the Boer War campaign. Any military history experts on the forum to shed a little light on this image?

Matt - NSW Lancers circa 1903. First formed in 1885 when they were known as the Sydney Light Horse. Name changed in 1894 to N.S.W. Lancer Regiment. First colonial troops to land in South Africa for the Boer War.
