is this an option for cheaper lens glassHello
and first a safe and happy Christmas to you all. Enjoy your families and your friends. Being a not work morning I have had time to browse and found this: http://asia.nikkei.com/magazine/2014112 ... components I live in a world where there are many research announcements that never go anywhere. I am not sure if this will eventuate, or if it can be molded in large production numbers. It did then draw me to the Nikon glass site: the world was simple once. I should not be surprised at the thoroughness of Nikon's approach. Unfortunately it did not help me understand if this new technology is of value to camera lenses. I am sure there is someone on this site who will know the answers. nikon glass business site http://www.nikon.com/products/glass/lin ... /index.htm Philip
Re: is this an option for cheaper lens glassVery interesting development. It will be interesting to see where this goes and if really does lower the price of camera optics significantly. Thanks for sharing.
Regards
