Monitor advice

It's time to upgrade my 4-5 year old 23" monitor. My budget is reasonable but not limitless. Is a 4K monitor is worth the coin? I use a monitor 95% for Photoshop and browsing, but not a lot of video.

I am considering one of these:

Any advice welcomed. Thanks.

I have had both brands and I found them very good. But, I cannot comment further on these specific monitors. I guess it comes to preference and price.

Thanks Zaffs. Not quite sure which direction to head. Kogan has LG 29" ultra wide HD monitor for around $350 which is another option.

I'd look at the LG, and also see if there's a similar Samsung. While I can't comment on the Kogan monitor, I have found that their TVs have been somewhat lacking in contrast.

The more I research monitors, the more confused I become. I think sometimes there's too much information in cyberspace.

Thanks for the input. I have placed an order for a 34" ultra widescreen QHD monitor. Hopefully it will be a good allrounder. Time will tell.

Price for below monitor was $799 less $100 cashback = $699 with 4 year warranty
