EV Comp Guru Question

Okay, here's a question that's got me quite puzzled. And please think about it before you give your final answer.

When you dial in an exposure compensation, say EV+1, EV-2, or whatever, where does that change in exposure come from? I have not been able to see any change in ISO, shutter speed or f/stop to account for these compensations that are added to or subtracted from the exposures to change them. So were does the change in exposure come from??

Can anybody answer this one? Feel free to use one of your lifelines if necessary.

Steve - I use aperture priority quite a bit in my work and when I dial in + or - exposure compensation the shutter speed changes :!:

Yeah, my Sony. It does appear to change. I could swear that nothing was changing. I think my brain has stopped working. Maybe I should go to bed now.

If you are in shutterpriority then the Fstop should change.
