This goes to show that even the professionals don't have that good a picture. I don't think that many of these are all that good, honestly, compared to some of the work I've seen from around here. Regardless, my favs are Sarah McLachlan, Solomon Burke, Tim Freedman, and Tex Perkins who is singing while holding a beer. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

Cat Empire and Janis Ian both look out of focus to me.
And many of these look like they may have been taken with a D70, the way the reds have blown. And doesn't Janis Ian look old ??? g.

Byron Blues & Roots Festival Photo (SMH.com.au)I agree, few shabby photos in that lot. Highlights, and highlights on the day were Roy Ayers, Solomon Burke and George Clinton Parliament Funkadelics. I've heard reports REM's performance "changed peoples lives", frankly I thought they were a bit yawn.

Agree Gary, Janis Ian looks like the aunty with the doily passion.
Love the shots of George Clinton, and the one of Rev Solomon Burke is pretty special too. But I agree that the standard of photography is not that great. Maybe the we are seeing the effects of the ganja filter Greg - - - - D200 etc
