anyone heard of this problem? metering chips

Postby redline on Tue Apr 26, 2005 3:18 pm

i was talking about the last time i had sent in my 300 prime to recalibrate at camera clinic.
they told me that somehow the chip shorted and had reseted to f/4 or +1 overexposure. i thought this was strange but they did fix it quickly under warranty and it worked for about ok when i tested it. until it happen again
when i was at a shoot it kept over exposuring again :x again at +1 exposure. this really sucks i don't want to bring it back for it to last another day, exp when shooting kodakchromes i don't want to get a headache over exp.

anyone want to comment on this situation?
