Nikon 70-200 VR and 85mm f1.8 examples from Birddog

Postby Matt. K on Thu Oct 14, 2004 9:33 pm

Last Friday night I had the pleasure of working with Birddog and using some of his gear. Birddog works the floor like a professional and here are some pics he took with the 70-200 VR and the D2H.

And here is one he took with the 85mm f1.8. You have to see the full image to see how sharp and embracing this supurb lens is.

Matt,

Thanking you very much for your time last Friday evening, and posted photos.

Sorry, I have to correct this: the 85mm is f1.4 not 1.8 as the header.

This function is a Fundraising Dinner for the Sukhavati Buddhist Monastic Institute and at The Maxims Bankstown Reception.

Ooops! Sorry Birddog. F1.4....they don't come much faster. I believe Canon once made a f0.95 50mm lens and a couple of manufacturers have made f.1.0 50mm lenses. I'm waiting for for a f.1.2 200mm lens selling for about $100 Aust. Meanwhile....
Regards
