Question is what are the steps to do this? When I look at the pictures at their gallaries the seem to look fine. I guess I just want to make sure I see what they see.

Monitor calibration ??I have seen several photo gallaries were the owner would have a grey scale to use to set your monitor.

The greyscale that you have seen on some galleries is really just to see if your monitor is too dark or light. If you can see a difference between the darkest and second darkest blacks and also between the lightest whites then that should be OK. However that does not show colour balance which is a lot of what monitor calibration is all about. A "Spyder" or similar is what is really needed to set that properly. I don't own one ![]() There are many knowledgable people on this forum to help. A search of the forum is usually a good place to start. Hope this helps, Greolt
