So I met this guy shooting with a D70 yesterday and he's complaining that he's spent $3000 on flash cards.....Boy, was he a happy chappy when I told him you could reuse them!

Nope - Not quite
An old lady (Her name is Ceilia, aged 86 years) living a few doors away likes to play solitaire cards on her computer - an old Pentium II.
Her son is away in Thailand on business at the moment
Ceilia's mouse started to play up last week so she went to the kitchen, got a knife and cut the mouse cord so she could bring it over to me to see if I could fix it
Had to go down to Big W and buy her a new mouse :D
Cheers
Graham PS. The mouse problem was caused by a build up of fluff in the sensor hole.

This old - tech-unfriendly guy i know had a digital camera - a little point and squirt. He wanted to take a photo of me and my fiancee (at that time).

He was infact holding the camera the wrong way, looking through the other side of the viewfinder (the lcd screen facing us). He took a series of shots and of course got semi-blinded from the flash going off right next to his eye.

I told him he was holding the camera the wrong way around, then he admitted embarrassedly, that that was why he kept getting flashed, and the pictrues didnt seem to be turning out. That is one quick way to deteoriate any remaining vision. Im surprised he didnt have some sort of bburnt patch on his face.

God help me if i see an amateur doing the same with a DSLR.

Many years ago, when working as a sales rep I called in to see a guy at microsoft. He was in customer service. He told me that a woman rang in, she wanted to return her microsoft natural keyboard because there was a key missing, when asked which one, she said that the program is telling her to press any key and she couldn't find a key called "any"
True story.
