Fixing moire

I took an image of the parly house yesterday and the flagpole (which makes up only a small part of the image, the sample is at 100%) shows some VERY distracting moire...
any tips on the best way to remove it?

First impression MHD is that this is not moire. It looks more like colour banding. 8)

It is May you know. Perhaps it is preparations for the anuual pollies pole dance :P

Just curious, could you post the EXIF data for that shot? ISO/shutter speed/aperture..

If the banding is evident in the full-size version, try resizing to something which is not a round number... I did that with one of mine and after some experimentation I managed to get rid of most of it...
Also if you sharpened, try sharpening with a lower radius...

Or do your USM in 1/3 yes it takes longer but gives better results for some reason......
