Better Photoshop Techniques

Not sure if this post should be here or in the "Equipment Reviews" thread.

When I first started Photoshopping I was totally over awed. I just didn't know where to start. I went looking for a "Dummies guide to Photoshop" type of book, but someone told me about "Better Photoshop Techniques" which is a step by step guide for Photoshop beginners.

I think it was the best $25 I ever spent. Working thru the articles is really useful and you can download the images that each article is about and practice the technique on the actual image in the book. Now that I've worked thru a few articles and know what's in the book, it makes a handy how to reference when I want to do something but can't quite remember how.

Heeh, I even learned about layers yesterday. :D

The book is published in Sydney and I found it at a newsagent, so it should be easy to get. Issue 2 has just been released by the way.

By the way, this is not an add, just an endorsement of a damn good book.

Cheers
John

Cool.

I will have to pick up a copy and give it a go. I am partially brain damaged when it comes to photoshop.
