I have just noticed that mu genuine Nikkor lenses are made all over the place.

80-400VR - Japan

60mm Micro Macr - Japan

80-200 D - China

Kit Lens 18 - 7- Thailand.

My genyouwhine Sigma lenses are all made in Japan, or somewhere...

That's normal. You can even get the same lenses made in different places. Regardless if it has the Nikon name on it the quality control is the same. Not sure about those other brands (is it Pepsi or Coke?)
