13000 posts since I last logged on! Anyway I enjoyed the good food and had a good rest. I took a couple thousand photos and will be posting soon. All I can say is that the Coolwalker did not give up on me and worked a treat. Most of the time I used the 24-120 and I must say that except for the #!* hood, it was really good. I also used the 12-24 during visits of monuments and castles. The one I used least is the 70-200 and that is the one I absolutely wanted before going away... Still gives the best pictures, but not as versatile as the 24-120.
Hope to be able to attend the next mini-meet, that is if Birddog allows me in without "cassoulet"!
Cheers,
Gerard

Welcome back Gerard

Can't wait to see those pics. I know what you mean about the 70-200, but I'd still not be without it.

glamy,
Welcome back, hope you have had a good trip and enjoyed your holiday.
The mini meet missed you in the last months, no cassoulet no problems, we can make it some other days
Yes, the 24-120VR is a versatile lens for the trip like you had, the 12-24 will do the good job with castle, landscaping and architecture also I never leave the 70-200VR home while I'm on the trip.
Do I have to wait long to see your photos?
