Macro work - extension rings and the D2X in P/S/A ??Question for the lucky bastards who have the good fortune to own a D2x :
DO the Pk11a/12/13 extension rings work in any of the exposure modes other than M? It really bugs me that you cant TTL meter with them on the D70 I know about using the historgram, or using a light meter... Close up attachments for my 50mm are ok too, but i really want TTL! TY lejazzcat (ps - proud new owner of a 28-70/2.8 ) So many ideas. So little time.

Thanks very much mate... theyre a exremely handy accessory for a photographers arsenal. So in which modes? (Focusing and metering) Typical, it seems to me they crippled the D70. Does anyone know of a way of making it work ? - or other manafacturers units that will work? So many ideas. So little time.

This might interest you. I never tried it myself before. Not for me but you might want to fiddle. Bjørn Rørslett describes on his site how to do it. Though i cannot find it anymore. He describes (not very well at least for me) how to put a chip in a extension tube and then use a manual lens. Not sure myself but I think he knows more about it than me. I am sure others here will better be able to help you., if you decide to tinker with the idea I'm back
