NewbeeGood afternoon all
Just introducing myself as a new member. My name is Graham Bradshaw and I live reasonably close to the Snowy Mountains. I am principally a wedding photographer but I also do portraits. Currently learning glamour and fashion. I do landscape and macro for fun and therapy. I shoot film or digital and I enjoy the conveniance of digital. I am also in the local fire brigade (RFS) which gets me pretty close to some fires. I just need to remember to take a camera. Greetings to all. Best regards. Snowycam
Hi to both of you!
Graham, it sounds like we could learn quite a bit from you and you certainly have some beautiful scenery to photograph around you. I look forward to seeing some of your pictures. Regards, Marvin
Welcome Snowycam!
Hope you'll enjoy your stay. Are you based at Jindabyne? I had some works done with NRMA Care Flight same time last year at Jindabyne Lake and Lake Crackenback Resort same as Ski Tube. Often went to Lake Crackenback Resort in August. Birddog114

Well I'm heading up over Brown Mountain to the Snowy's this weekend. Spending a couple of days at Guthega with my snowboarding daughter. I'll be taking the D70 and giving some snow shooting a go. I'll put a couple of skis on. Hope I dont need Birdy's careflight chopper to get me out of there.

Thank you to all repliesThank you to Atorie, Glen, Marvin, Bago100, Mr Birddog, Christian, Bigpix, JYT and Shakey for your greetings and encouraement.
To reply to you but not in any order, I am down at Colinton, NSW. It has a fire station and a house opposite, that is all. Not mine though. Pass the place at 100 km hr and you don't see a thing. As for photogrpahy, I love art and photography is just a means to an end. I am only a newbee to photography, even though I have been interested in it since I was a liitle fella (helped dad in dark room) I have only been doing it seriously for about 3 years. I was trained by Franz Felbermayer (years of wedding experience) to do weddings. Franz is no longer with us now so I had to learn (still learning) the business end of weddings real fast instead of just taking photogs for him. So am I a good weeding photographer. No, far from it. But I can analyse someone elses work and know what they are doing and why. Do I want to be a great wedding photog. Yes. But only because it is good to have a challenge. What else? Yes I do have one or two pairs of warm boots, I even have a large wood fireplace in the bathroom. Because I can. I need to keep using this discussion thingo to get used to it. I will check out how to send a photo and then send one. Best regards to you all Graham
