To sell or not to sell

Looking for opinions from the like minded people here

I just bought a 50mm f1.8 D from our resident guru and have a spare 50mm 1.8 MF lying around. It's still in ace condition, only problem is that it's manual focus and no metering whatsoever with the D70. Haven't tested it with a film camera and I can't imagine it to be any different...

Ironically, this photo was taken with the new 50mm + SB800....

One part says to get rid of it as I probably won't be using it anymore, the flea market side of me says to keep it just in case it'll be worth something later on

If I was to get rid of it, how much would it be worth? I bought it second hand...maybe even third hand for $80 :S I tried ebay but they're mainly AF 50mm 1.8.

I personally would not sell that lens, just wait until you get a D2X, then you can use it again:D


It all depends on whether you really need the AUD100 from selling this lens.
