Canon, Nikon bet on DSLR's to lift profitsAn interesting article on the Bloomberg site curtesy of "a777" at OCAU
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000101&sid=aEusHjaXn7c8&refer=japan I can see why there investing into DSLR as they can make a big profit from lens lust! Nikon F80D, FM2n
RRS BH-55, 055XPROB Smugmug
In the early days of film cameras there was not the proliferation of models as there is today.
In my mind the D50 is too close to the D70s so Nikon will be watching sales and whichever leads will knock the other off their inventory. The same with the D2Hs and D2X - I know they fit into different categories but I do see an early demise of the D2Hs as the price points between it and the D2X is too close. Anyway - that’s my 2 cents worth Chris
-------------------------------- I started my life with nothing and I’ve still got most of it left
